My philosophy as a luthier and a craftsman is to provide an exceptionally built instrument to a discerning audience of guitar player. The term “Custom Build” or “Build to Order” is the customers guarantee that they are purchasing a truly unique musical instrument.

When you call LaCroix Guitars for a custom built guitar, you are opening yourself up to a near endless world of choices. First, you are invited into the heart of LaCroix Guitars, the shop. The place where it all happens. This is where collective ideas and imagery are put on paper and your custom guitar draws in its first breath.

The custom build process is a very personal experience, both for myself and the client. As the process unfolds and the guitar takes shape, the input of the customer is vital in ensuring that they are getting exactly what they expect.

Upon completion of a custom build, the customer is handed a one-of-a-kind musical instrument that will provide endless hours of enjoyment in playing and the pride and satisfaction in knowing that you helped build it.

A build to order custom guitar starts at $800 to $4000 CDN and includes a hardshell case. Prices are subject to change.

LaCroix Guitars is committed to providing its customers with high quality instruments providing years of enjoyment. Every LaCroix Guitars instrument is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as they are owned by the original purchaser.

Terms and Conditions: LaCroix Guitars warrants solely to the original purchaser of this LaCroix Guitars musical instrument that the instrument purchased shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for as long as the instrument is owned by the original purchaser, and until the ownership of the instrument is transferred to another.  This limited warranty does not apply to: (a) Wear or breakage of frets or strings, or other normal wear and tear of the instrument and its parts; (b) Asserted defects caused by modification, misuse or abuse or improper maintenance of the instrument; (c) Asserted defects involving subjective personal likes or judgements; (d) Asserted defects caused by accident or exposure to extremes of temperature or humidity which cause harm to the instrument; (e) Asserted defects by any purchaser who did not purchase the instrument from an authorized LaCroix Guitars dealer in Canada; or (f) Guitars owned by non-Canadian residents.

LaCroix Guitars shall review the description of the asserted defect; examine the instrument, and make service, repairs and replacements as appropriate under this Limited Warranty.
